Yours, always. Everything runs in your cloud accounts, your repos and your CI. You own the code and the model choices from the first commit, and there is nothing to migrate when the engagement ends.

We are model-agnostic and pick per use case, then build the evals that let you swap providers later without guessing. In practice that usually means a frontier model for reasoning-heavy steps and something smaller and cheaper for high-volume classification.

That is a common starting point. We begin with an audit of what exists, keep what works, and are direct about what should be replaced. Rewrites are a last resort, not a default.

Data handling, PII redaction, prompt-injection defence and audit logging are part of the build, not an afterthought. We have shipped systems through SOC 2, HIPAA and financial services review, and we work with your security team from week one.

Your engineers own it. Handover means documentation, pairing sessions and a runbook, plus an on-call window from us while your team settles in. If we have done our job you should not need us for the second use case.

We are deliberately small and senior, and we run two or three engagements at a time. The people who scope your work are the people who do it; there is no account-management layer and no bench of juniors. Where a piece of work needs a specialist, we name them before they start.

A day rate pays us for elapsed time, which is exactly the wrong incentive. A fixed price against a fixed scope means we carry the risk of our own estimate, and you approve the number before anything starts.

Then we say so, and we say it early. A meaningful share of consulting engagements end with a recommendation not to build. It is a far cheaper outcome than discovering the same thing six months into a project.

Yes to both. We are used to security reviews, data protection impact assessments and supplier onboarding, and we would rather your security team was involved from week one than presented with a finished system.

Thirty minutes, no deck. You describe the problem in whatever state it is actually in, we ask about the data and the constraints, and we tell you which of the three services fits — or that none of them does. You leave with a view on whether it is worth doing.

Nothing formal. If you have a process that frustrates you, a rough sense of what it costs you today, and an idea of who would have to sign off on a change, that is more than enough to have a useful conversation.
