Pricing

Fixed price, agreed before we start. No day rates, no change-order economics, and no invoice you did not expect.

Every engagement is quoted against a written scope with a fixed end date. You approve the number before any work begins, and we carry the risk of our own estimate.

What this covers

Prices are floors rather than averages. The number on your scope depends on how many systems are involved, how hard the data is to reach and how much of the review sits under regulation — all of which we work out on the first call, not after you have committed.

Method

How a price gets to your inbox. Three steps, and none of them involves a procurement game.

01

A 30-minute call

You describe the problem. We ask about data, systems, constraints and who signs off. Free, and there is no deck.

02

A written scope

Within a few days: the end state, what is out of scope, the price, the date, and what we need from your side. Also free.

03

You decide

Nothing is billed until you have agreed the scope. If the number does not work, tell us and we will say whether a smaller version is worth doing.

Commercials

The questions finance asks. Answered here rather than on a call, because they are the same every time.

Why fixed price rather than day rate?

A day rate pays us for elapsed time, which is precisely the wrong incentive. A fixed price against a fixed scope means we carry the risk of our own estimate, and you can approve the number before any work starts.

What happens if the scope changes mid-engagement?

Small changes get absorbed. Anything that materially moves the end state gets written up as a separate, separately priced piece of work, and you decide whether it happens now or later. What does not happen is a surprise invoice.

Are there ongoing costs after handover?

Your model and infrastructure spend, which runs through your own accounts and which we instrument so it is visible from day one. Support from us after the included on-call window is optional and quoted separately.

Do you offer a retainer?

Only where it is genuinely useful — usually a small monthly allocation for teams running several systems who want a standing review of evaluation scores and cost. We would rather you did not need one.
